The bass was my working horse for more than 8 years and I gigged a lot with it. From Rock to Fusion Dancehall/Reggae etc…all the sounds are inside.
The bass has an evenly response on the whole neck. It plays like butter and has lots of growl and mwah. The tone is fat and punchy and all the sound engineers I’d worked with told me the same: a small cut at 1khz and there was that huge sound.
For a few times I tuned it down to f-sharp …and it works absolutely well..
